Dawn Patrol owners, Dom Ossa and Nick Suggit, have moved their beloved roastery to a new home in Chandlers Hill.
For the past six years, Dawn Patrol has been slinging small-batch specialty coffee in Kangarilla. The dedicated crowd that flocked to the secluded spot is a testament to how good the lads’ brew is.
The new Chandlers Hill location will have a cellar door and roastery where you can be taken through a guided coffee tasting for you and up to nine mates.
Coffee tastings will only feature black coffee, and will be personally curated for each group.
The in-depth tastings are perfect for those wanting to lift their coffee knowledge, as they’ll compare different coffee origins and varieties.
The experience will be much like a wine tasting experience, but more caffeinated.
The new Dawn Patrol will sit next to Watkins Family Wine, an Adelaide Hills winery specialising in premium cool climate wines.
While they prepare brew after brew, Watkins Family Wine also be offering wine tastings from midday.
The new venue will be an elevated version of Dawn Patrol’s former space, but still retaining the same relaxed atmosphere the coffee roasters are known for.
The bigger space also offers more room for capacity and coffee production.
Dawn Patrol Coffee Roasters have quickly established a reputation for having some of the best coffee around. The duo started their business in 2014 to share their passion for specialty coffee with the world.
Their 100% sustainable and traceable coffee beans are sourced from all over the globe, from Costa Rico to Colombia and everywhere in-between.
Once open, there will be food available thanks to a “rotating roster” of food trucks.
The new Dawn Patrol Coffee Roastery is set to open in the middle of October, with 7am, Friday to Sunday penned for now.
