Good news for Delta Goodrem fans!
The award-winning Aussie artist is finally going ahead with her Bridge Over Troubled Dreams Tour this weekend, with tickets still available and up for grabs.
The long-awaiting tour, originally planned for April/May 2021, was rescheduled to October 2021 because of COVID complications. Unfortunately, it was rescheduled once again for March 2022.
Thankfully, it’s going ahead and has moved from the theatre at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre into the arena next door to accommodate more fans. Delta will also be joined by Brisbane band Sheppard as a special guest.
All tickets purchased for the October 2021 concert remain valid for the March 25 show. Ticket holders won’t need to take any further action.
The tour celebrates Delta’s seventh studio album, entitled Bridge over Trouble Dreams, which was released on May 14 2021.
$1+ GST from every ticket purchased to the Bridge Over Troubled Dreams Tour will be donated to the Delta Goodrem Foundation.
Established in 2020, the Delta Goodrem Foundation strives to “spread kindness, hope and support for those facing illness, hardship and inequality”.
The foundation’s lead collaboration is with St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, to help fund medical research in cellular therapy for blood cancers and auto-immune disease.
St Vincent’s is the hospital where Delta received treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma when she was just eighteen years old.
The Delta Goodrem Foundation, in collaboration with St Vincent’s, aims to use lab research, patient trials, and international collaborations to rapidly advance novel therapies and interventions and alleviate the suffering of those afflict with these diseases.
