If we had our way, it would be wine time right now. But it isn’t… not quite anyway. As you would know by now we love our wine, especially when it is a cracking good drop from a beautiful South Australian winery…
So, when we heard that the De Lisio Wines Pop Up Cellar Door is back again in McLaren Vale this month we may have squealed with excitement.
This treasure only emerges a few times a year at the McLaren Vale Visitor Centre, so when we know that it is on, we do anything not to miss it.
Not only do you get the opportunity to taste through their delicious range, discuss the wines, and pick up some stock for your wine rack, at great prices, but you also get to have a look at their boutique premium wines, packed with character, created from McLaren Vale’s flagship varieties.
Wines will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle, and can be enjoyed with a full café menu and tasting plates. Our fave, especially if there is cheese involved.
Then, wine and cheese in hand, you can nestle into the rustic, rammed-earth cellar door, or relax on the covered deck overlooking the sweeping manicured lawns and the rolling hills of The Vale. Sounds divine to us.
