Dine at KI’s popular foodie event ‘The Feast’

KI dining experience creator, Gastronomo, have been bringing their latest spring wilderness dining experience, The Feast to the island since earlier last month, with extra dinners being added this weekend to accommodate the events popularity.

Running until November 29th, ‘The Feast’ is a progressive dining adventure inspired by the stars and designed to connect diners to the spirit and essence of a magical location through its local produce, storytelling, a hint of theatre and a touch of the unexpected.

Surrounded by flickering candlelight and in a secret venue hand-crafted by old sugar gum trees and corrugated iron, the evening’s event explores historic cooking techniques that’ll leave your pallet with a dance of different tastes inspired by the land and sea, with meals cooked over fire and coals. 

The Feast Dinner experience includes a Kangaroo Island Spirit welcome cocktail and a progressive dinner for $145 per person. Attend on Thursday through to Monday evenings from 7.30pm to 10.15pm. Dine on Sunday and Monday nights to receive a 10% saving.

SeaLink will provide your return trip, with shared coach transfers from Kingscote and Penneshaw on Saturday 6^th, 13th, 20th, and 27th November. Return coach transfers departing KI Seafront Hotel are $70 per person and transfers departing Aurora Ozone Hotel are $60 per person. Private return transfers are also available, on request and are subject to availability at time of booking.

SeaLink is also offering a 2 Day/1 Night Kangaroo Island & The Feast Weekend Escape Self Drive Package, priced from $533.50 per person, twin share. It includes return passenger and standard vehicle ferry transfers from Cape Jervis to Kangaroo Island with dinner at The Feast, return shared coach transfer, plus a night’s accommodation at the Aurora Ozone Hotel.

Extra Feast dinners have been added for this weekend for Saturday 6th and Sunday 7^th November, with SeaLink offering a shared transfer shuttle bus for the Saturday night. Can’t make it for The Feast? The Enchanted Fig Tree dining kicks off from the 16^th December.
