International fashion photographer, Leah McQueen, regularly travels between Europe and NY, shooting designer fashion parades and celebrities. Originally from Adelaide, Leah shot for Glam Adelaide before heading overseas to expand her portfolio. In the ‘Fashion Abroad’ column, Leah shares her adventures with us, so that South Australians can share in her exciting experiences and find out what’s hot on catwalks around the world.
This week Leah shot the Dior Homme AW13 show in Paris 19/1/2013.
The menswear collection by Kris Van Assche was amazing. Karl Lagerfeld attended the show once again to show his support for his friend Kris. I was invited to attend the Dior after party with Godfrey Deeny, who was recently appointed editor at large for French conservative newspaper Le Figaro. Accompanied by my gorgeous friend, Julie Johansen of Agentluxe.com we partied the night away drinking champagne and mingling with all the beautiful fashion crowd into the early hours of the morning. Another fabulous day in the world of fashion. J’adore Paris!
