Discover local makers at Pepper Street’s Little Treasures Christmas Market

Join the Christmas market celebrations as Pepper Street turns 30 where you can shop for affordable ornaments, jewellery, ceramics and more.

Pepper Street Arts Centre is wrapping up three decades of creative magic with a seasonal flourish, this year’s Little Treasures Christmas Exhibition doubles as their 30th birthday celebration, and the kickoff event is shaping up to be one for the books.

If you love discovering hand-made gems, supporting local makers, or just soaking in festive community vibes, the Little Treasures launch is the perfect way to start the season.

On Sunday 16 November from 2pm to 4pm, you’re invited to join the community for a festive launch filled with heart and hustle. Think carols by Adelaide Sound Connection Singers, a good old-fashioned sausage sizzle courtesy of Burnside Rotary, caricatures by Cartoon Guy, face painting for the kids (or the kid in you), and a free birthday raffle.

If you’ve ever wanted to make your own card, swing by the “come-and-try” card-making station with Made with Joy. Add complimentary festive refreshments, and you’ve got an afternoon of warm feels and creative energy.

Little Treasures is a beloved tradition, a showcase of locally handcrafted gifts from over 60 South Australian artists.

You’ll find ornaments that sparkle with personality, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, each item unique, each piece made with care, and all affordably priced so you can gift beautifully without stressing the wallet.

By combining it with the 30th birthday, Pepper Street signals how much more than a gallery it’s become. A community anchor, a hub for artistic dreams, and a place where creative connection happens.

Over the years, the centre has hosted exhibitions, events, workshops, and launched countless local creatives.
