If you’re craving the ultimate vegan and vegetarian crunch, look no further than Soonta’s latest menu addition, panko cauliflower.

Crafted from locally sourced cauliflower florets ensuring freshness and a great taste, the crispy golden panko breading coating the cauliflower adds a great texture to every bite.

The panko cauliflower is a versatile ingredient which can be added to bowls or eaten as a side snack for just $5.95 with a dipping sauce. But get in quick, because it’s only available until 30th September.

Soonta marketing manager Alison Mancini says the panko cauliflower has been incredibly popular due to its mouth-watering taste and it had already gained a loyal following with customers.

“It is absolutely delicious, since it started in stores it has been really popular, we are selling through it like no tomorrow. It is crumbed cauliflower and deep fried, it tastes amazing, it is $15 in any bowl,” she says.

But the panko cauliflower isn’t the only vegetarian and vegan option on the Soonta menu, with plenty of other ways to make a delicious and nutritious meal suitable to your dietary requirements.

You can make their Rice Bowls, Bun Bowls and Salad Bowls vegan or vegetarian-friendly by opting for a tofu and mushroom topping, and vegetarian spring rolls can also be added to the bowls. Make sure you select the right toppings and condiments to ensure your meal is vegan or vegetarian.

“Tofu and mushroom is one of our fillings that can go on all our bowls, Banh Mi’s are a vegetarian-friendly option and vegan if you opt for no aioli spread, all salad bases are vegetarian, we have got a cabbage, cos salad and mesclun salad bases too,” Alison says.

Top them with a vegetarian and vegan-friendly soy sauce or choose from their vegetarian range of dressings, with their balsamic vinaigrette, lemongrass and kaffir lime and tiger dressings also gluten-free.

Choose their tasty tofu and mushroom filling to make rice paper rolls vegan or vegetarian, and vegetarians can dip them in a hoisin sauce for that extra flavour.

Looking for something extra? Grab some sweet potato chips on the side, and vegetarians can get a tangy kick with a garlic mayonnaise dipping sauce, or edamame beans with salt and pepper seasoning.
