50% off second pair of shoes, plus Elsa and Mario fitting school shoes these holidays

Are you on a quest for the perfect school shoe for your little one? Spendless have the perfect fit.

Are you on a quest for the perfect school shoe fit for your little one? We’ve been there and we know it can feel like diving headfirst into a comedy of errors.

Picture this: one moment, you’re convinced you’ve got your child’s shoe size nailed down, only to be stunned by their overnight growth spurt. Then, armed with a ruler, you attempt to measure their squirming feet, dodging kicks and giggles like a ninja. And let’s not forget the fashion fiasco, where your little trendsetter insists on a specific style that’s more runway than classroom-ready. Sound familiar? You’re not alone.

Well, Spendless is making things easier for you to get the kids school shoes sorted these holidays, PLUS they have 50% off your second pair of shoes, so why not spoil yourself with a pair too, once the kids shoes are done.

To make things a little more fun, Elsa from everyone’s favourite fiction film Frozen and daredevil Mario will be at Spendless Tea Tree Plaza at selected times during the last week of school holidays to help fit your child’s next pair of school shoes. Head on over to Westfield Tea Tree Plaza, to make ‘finding the perfect pair of shoes’ an easy feat. (Booking link below).

To be even more helpful, Spendless has also offered some info via a ‘quick school shoe fitting guide’, so you can ensure that your child’s feet are comfortable and well-supported throughout the rest of the school year.

Spendless’ quick school shoe fitting guide:

1. LEAVE A GAP

  • Make sure there’s a half width thumb gap between child’s longest toe and end of shoe
  • This ensures you allow enough room for your child’s feet to grow without leaving shoes too loose.

2. ALLOW WIDTH

  • It’s not all about length!
  • Leave enough width in school shoes so your child’s feet aren’t suffocated.
  • If you can see an outline of the foot in the shoe, they’re too tight.

3. GET FITTED REGULARLY

  • Childrens feet grow so quickly, changing shape and size so make sure you get them fitted regularly.
  • From 5 years old, we recommend getting your child’s feet fitted every 4-6 months.

At Spendless they understand that every child is different, which is why they offer 16 different children’s sizes. Whether your child is just starting school or going through a growth spurt, you can find shoes that fit their feet perfectly at every stage of development.

When choosing school shoes, it’s essential to consider flexibility. Spendless’ shoes are designed to allow your child’s feet to move freely and comfortably, promoting good balance and coordination. This flexibility is crucial for healthy foot development, allowing your child to walk, run, and play without feeling restricted or uncomfortable.

With its range of styles, including lace-ups, pull-on boots, Mary Janes, T-bar styles, and double velcro straps, you’re sure to find the perfect pair of school shoes for your child. And with their affordable prices and availability year-round, you can always count on them for quality footwear.
