Disney Cruise Line has announced an exciting new season of ‘Disney Magic at Sea’ cruises for the 2025/2026 travel period, expanding their offerings in Australia and New Zealand. This latest season will commence with sailings from October 2025 through to February 2026, promising an enchanting experience for guests aboard the Disney Wonder.

Onboard the Disney Wonder, guests will be immersed in a world where Disney narratives and characters come to life. The cruise features exclusive meetings with beloved characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars franchises. Entertaining Broadway-style shows and vibrant deck parties are also a staple, enhancing the magical cruise experience.

The season will kick off on 19 October 2025, with Disney Wonder setting sail from ports in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, as well as Auckland, New Zealand. The seasonal offerings will include varying cruise lengths, from short 3-night journeys to longer 10-night expeditions.

A highlight of the 2026 season is the introduction of a 10-night Trans-Tasman voyage. Departing from Auckland on 19 December 2025 and arriving in Sydney, this special sailing will include stops in five New Zealand destinations for the first time. Ports of call will include Tauranga, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch, and Fiordland National Park, delivering unique opportunities for guests to explore the scenic beauty of New Zealand.

Disney Cruise Line’s signature rotational dining system ensures guests enjoy a variety of culinary experiences. Highlights include Tiana’s Place, where guests can enjoy New Orleans-inspired dishes accompanied by live jazz music. Another great dining experience is Animator’s Palate, an interactive restaurant where the environment transforms with vibrant colours and characters during the meal.

Complementing its family-friendly offerings, the Disney Wonder boasts specially designed youth clubs and family pool areas. Disney’s Oceaneer Club, for example, features a multi-level area themed around Andy’s Room from “Toy Story,” providing an engaging environment for children. Adults are not left out, as the cruise offers exclusive adult-only areas such as sophisticated dining options, an adults-only pool area, and the Senses Spa & Salon for relaxation.

Bookings for the 2025/2026 season will open to the general public on 28 June AEST. For those eager to experience the magic sooner, bookings are currently available for the upcoming 2024/2025 season. Included in this season are special Christmas-themed sailings from 24 November 2024 to 3 January 2025, featuring festive entertainment and décor.
