It’s time to celebrate, Disney fans young and old! Disney On Ice is back in Adelaide this coming Winter, bringing a magical medley of classic and modern tales to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre from Friday, June 20th to Sunday, June 22nd.
Everyone remembers watching Disney movies growing up. From old-school treasures from the 50s and 60s like The Jungle Book and Alice in Wonderland, to the classics of the 90s like The Lion King and Mulan, all the way to 21st Century blockbusters like Frozen, Moana, and Inside Out.
There’s something for everyone in Disney’s catalogue, and the only thing better than reliving your favourite movies on the screen is watching them performed on the ice. It’s a truly special experience, combining cherished Disney characters and stories with the incredible abilities of world-class ice-skating performers.
As part of a journey across six Australian cities in June and July, Disney On Ice is presenting their hit show, “Find Your Hero”, bringing beloved characters to life through cutting edge figure-skating, eye-catching costumes and stunning set designs. Innovative lighting, thrilling special effects, high-flying jumps and breathtaking skating make “Find Your Hero” an experience the whole family will treasure forever.
At this show, audiences will be part of the magic, joining Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and a dazzling host of fan-favourite characters from the Disney catalogue.
Join Mirabel on her journey to save her family’s beloved Casita, or follow Moana’s action-packed voyage with the mighty demigod Maui in a quest to save her island.
You can also see Elsa, Anna, and the hilarious Snowman, Olaf from the “Frozen” series, or dive under the sea and discover the power of true love with The Little Mermaid.
Disney On Ice “Find Your Hero” will grace the Adelaide Entertainment Centre for eight shows between June 20th and June 22nd. Pre-sale tickets are on sale from 10am on Tuesday, March 18th for Feld Entertainment priority customers. They’ll then go on pre-sale on Ticketek on Thursday, March 27th, before opening up to the general public on Wednesday, April 30th.
