Distill is getting a retro makeover every Friday this month

Ready to head to 1980s Miami? Distill is teaming up with Rum Co. of Fiji to make Fridays even more fun.

Popular Rundle Street bar Distill is teaming up with Rum Co. of Fiji. to transform their Rundle Street location into 1980s Miami, complete with neon signs and palm trees.

‘Neon Palms’ launched just last week and this collaboration will run every Friday night for the month of April. Even though the weather is getting cooler, inside Distill you will be transported to the heat of Miami.

Downstairs, people can expect fresh coconuts and rum cocktails, rotating DJs, party shirts, cocktail umbrellas, flamingos and flora brought in for the event. Head upstairs to experience Miami after dark with slushy pina coladas on tap, plus a few more surprises, as resident DJ Plastik People spins tunes until 3am.

Neon Palms has been a collaborative effort created by Adelaide company, The Exchange, in conjunction with Distill and after being postponed twice last year due to pandemic restrictions, so it’s super exciting to see it come into fruition.

The next event takes place tonight, so organise your friends and get ready for a good night.

The event is completely free entry, so make the most of it while you can.
