Dive Among The Great Barrier Reef With This New VR Experience

It’s a dream come true for a lot of us — walking with David Attenborough through one of the seven wonders of the natural world.

David Attenborough has one of those voices that just makes you feel better about the world. It’s soothing, smooth, and coming to South Australia.

Er, in a virtual reality sense.

Today, the South Australian Museum has launched an award-winning, fully immersive virtual reality experience, David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef Dive.

It’s a dream come true for a lot of us — walking with David Attenborough through one of the seven wonders of the natural world.

The 360 video virtual reality takes you diving beneath the waves of the Great Barrier Reef. Your guide, the esteemed David Attenborough, takes you through the vibrant corals, darting fish, and sleek reef sharks, in an underwater experience.

The virtual reality tour runs at the South Australian Museum from 1 March to 14 July, so you’ve got plenty of time to get on it.

You can catch this experience at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm daily. It’s $12 for Museum members or $16 for non-members.
