Donate Loose Change And Hurley Hotel Group Will Match To Raise $50,000 For BlazeAid

Customers can donate loose change into the tins displayed on bars and/or add a $2 donation (or more) to their order at the tills in all Hurley Hotels across Metropolitan and Regional South Australia.

To support Australians and those close to home in South Australia, the Hurley Hotel Group will be running a donation drive in their hotels and bottleshops (Hurley Cellars) with the goal of raising $50,000 for BlazeAid.

Customers can donate loose change into the tins displayed on bars and/or add a $2 donation (or more) to their order at the tills in all Hurley Hotels across Metropolitan and Regional South Australia.

The Hurleys will be matching every dollar customers donate to reach the $50,000 target.

Visit any of the following hotels to participate: Arkaba Hotel, The Kensi, Tonsley Hotel, Marion Hotel, Hotel Royal, Torrens Arms Hotel, Port Lincoln Hotel and Pretoria Hotel.

Background on BlazeAid:

Not just rebuilding fences, but helping rebuild lives.

Blaze Aid volunteers, ranging in age from 12 to 85, not only donate their time, but also pay for their own transport to the camps and generally stay in their own tents and caravans. This means every cent of the $50,000 will go directly to buying materials to re-build fences and other farm infrastructure that may have been destroyed.

$50,000 will pay for materials for 20km of fencing. It may not sound like a lot but it just shows the importance of what BlazeAid does. The going rate for fencing is $10,000 per km but thanks to the support of volunteers, Blaze Aid can replace their fencing at a fraction of the cost
