It’s summertime, South Australia! What better way to take advantage of the warmer weather than to head to one of SA’s stunning wine regions for an epic evening of booze, beats and bites.
The Dowie Doole Twilight Sessions are back this summer, kicking off the exciting season this December 4. The epic evenings grant guests the opportunity to indulge in good wine and food, all while in the company of great people.
Nestled in the heart of McLaren Vale and surrounded by vineyards, the Dowie Doole Tasting Pod offers unparalleled 360-degree views of the region year-round. Yet as the summer sun begins to set over the Fleurieu Coast, there has never been a better time to watch the sky transform into vibrant shades of orange, pink and purple while enjoying a tipple of the winery’s stunning drops.
With a rotating line-up of food trucks setting up shop and local musicians swooning crowds with their tunes, Dowie Doole will transform into the ultimate Twilight soiree at the beginning of each month.
The winery will also be offering a monthly wine special on the evening, kicking off with Dowie Doole’s talented team pouring glasses of the ever-popular Frosé made from their crisp 2021 Rosé. Perfect for the impending balmy nights, nothing can beat kicking back on the lawn with friends and enjoying a glass (or two!) of everyone’s favourite frozen wine.
Dishing up barbeque bites at the winery this month will be Smokin’ It Up – known for their delicious American-style smoked meats, loaded burgers, tasting plates and fries.
Acoustic wonder and singer-songwriter Max Kelly will also be taking the stage on the opening night, playing crowds his original tracks while they bask in the late afternoon sunshine.
Looking for something extra special? Dowie Doole is also offering two VIP packages for groups heading to the summertime Twilight sessions.
The first package includes a four-hour bottomless package of Dowie Doole wines and Vale Ale beers, tasty cheese boards and premium seating at the Twilight session. The winery will also arrange transportation for the group from a central Adelaide location to and from the McLaren Vale location.
This VIP package is perfect for mates looking for a wicked end-of-year get together this December and is valid for up to 8 people.
The second VIP package can fit up to a party of 12, with a four-hour bottomless Dowie Doole wine and Vale Ale beer package, premium seats and a cheese board to graze away on the evening. Transport is not included in the second package.
Ideal for those living locally or individuals wanting to kick on after visiting the McLaren Vale locale, the Twilight Sessions offer a unique chance to experience the best of the region after-hours.
