Following the 2012 Big Day Out Tour, Drapht has resurfaced with two completely new and free tracks, plus a national tour to coincide.
“The purpose of the two new songs, was to push myself into trying something different, experiment and to get me out of my comfort-zone. On top of that, I wanted to give back to those that have supported me throughout the last year and beyond” Drapht says.
Drapht enjoyed an eventful year in 2011, including an ARIA number 1 album with The Life of Riley, ARIA & AIR awards for Best Urban Release, a 2x platinum single, gold single, a certified gold album and three songs making it onto the the Triple J’s Hottest 100.
Touring with his four piece band, including Perth-based urban artist, N’fa Jones, and Queensland up-and-comers Seven and Mr. Hill joiningthe tour as support slots, find out why the Sydney Morning Heralds boasts that “[Drapht is] overflowing with an impressive musicality that matches his lyrical prowess.”
Drapht performs one night only in Adelaide at the Clipsal 500, Friday March 1. Tickets on sale January 24 through OzTix.
