Drink Wine, Eat Italian & Raise Money For Beyond Blue

Tomich Wines and Pepe’s Cucina are teaming up for an evening featuring food, vino and entertainment from a former contestant of The Voice to help raise funds for Beyond Blue.

Want to enjoy an evening of amazing Italian food at Pepe Cucina accompanied by a tasting of fine wines by Tomich and an exclusive performance by Sarah Lloyde from The Voice?

You can do just that next Wednesday night, September 14, and help Adelaide’s Michelle Simper raise money for beyondblue at the same time!

In just six months, Pepe Cucina at Burnside Village has earned an enviable reputation as one of the finest Italian eateries in greater Adelaide. And everyone knows that Tomich make wines that are “to die for”. So when Michelle Simper was looking for something special to make her major fundraising event a success, combining these two forces seemed to make perfect sense, and they were only too happy to help.

In November Michelle will be taking on a mammoth challenge. She’ll be running in the New York Marathon for beyondblue from Staten Island to Manhattan, crossing the finish line at the historic landmark Central Park.

“I’m driven to take on this challenge because I want to draw attention to depression and mental health issues in the community”, Michelle said. “And this is my chance to make a real difference.”

“Every day there are millions of Australians living with depression or anxiety. beyondblue provides vital support and information that can help anyone and everyone achieve better mental health,” she said.

“My fundraising has helped many people open up and shed the stigma that still exists around discussing mental health and suicide. I hope that my work in this area can help encourage more conversations.”

Thanks to help from chef Salvatore Pepe, the Tomich team, and the support of sponsors Revolution Roofing, tickets are only $50, with all proceeds going directly to charity.

From 5 until 7.30pm you’ll enjoy canapés and antipasti platters prepared by the Pepe Cucina kitchen, matched with the range of Tomich wines. Sarah Lloyde from the 2012 season of The Voice will perform songs from her repertoire and Bec Raymond from Soul Factor Gospel Choir will also be singing.

There’ll be a range of door prizes and you’ll go home knowing you’ve helped a worthy cause. To book, go to http://www.trybooking.com/MTRJ
