Love dumplings? Love a good disco? How about a dumpling disco!

Stepney’s Fine and Fettle is very excited to announce that it will be holding a dumpling disco on Friday 8 April.

When we think of Fine and Fettle, we think of the contemporary brunch spot we’ve all come to know and love, with floor to ceiling glass windows, high ceilings with wooden beams and industry-chic drop lights, finished with exposed oak panelling.

What we didn’t know was that Fine and Fettle has an additional function room in the back, and when the dividing wall is removed, Fine and Fettle transforms into a huge event space fit for functions… and discos!

“It’s a very versatile space for us!” said Owner, Sam Worrall-Thompson. “We use the extra space for catering and functions, as well as our day trade.”

Fine and Fettle have been known to hold Dollar Dumpling events every 4-6 weeks, and other dumpling-related festivities. This time, though, there’s dancing!

“We have actually done a daquiri dumpling disco before, but dancing wasn’t allowed at the time. Now that COVID restrictions have eased, we thought we’d give it another crack!” said Owner, Sam Worrall-Thompson.

On the day, you can expect a cocktail on arrival, as well as drink specials, a dance floor, and UNLIMITED DUMPLINGS throughout the night.

“The range of special cocktails available will include daquiris, whiskey sours, peachy keens (gin), passionfruit as hell (gin), berry caprioska (vodka), and espresso martinis! But we can make anything as the night goes,” said Sam.

The exclusive drinks list for the night also includes a range of wines and beers, so there will be something for everyone.

The unlimited dumplings, though, is clearly the show-stealer, but multiple types to choose from.

“We have tofu and cabbage, pork and chive, steamed prawn, steamed scallop, and a mushroom and tofu option for our gluten free guests,” said Sam.

DJ’s Trim & Marc will be keeping the dancefloor pumping, so you can dance the night away from 7pm onwards.

Only 150 tickets will be sold, so get in quick to avoid disappointment.

When: Friday 8 April, 7pm – 12am.
