Now a CBD staple, you’ll often see city-goers zooming (responsibly) past you on an e-scooter.
A handy mode of travel, it’s undeniable that despite the initial backlash, the scooters are a quick and easy way of getting around the city, and they probably aid the decrease of traffic on the roads (and we’re always thankful for that).
The only detriment has been the limited range that you can ride the scooters.
Well, announced this morning on Steven Marshall’s Facebook page, e-scooters will be present in the 25km Coastal Park Trail between Seacliff and Outer Harbor for a 6 month trial period.
So you’ll soon be able to drop your car at one beach and zoom through the scenic path to the other.
