June is set to kick off with a bang this year with East End Cellars hosting a five-course wine dinner to showcase the high-quality product available from BK Wines.
Established in 2007, the Adelaide Hills BK Wines has always withheld the goal of creating fabulous art through sourcing exceptional grapes from small vineyards, to create the artistically soulful and quality standard of wine they know so well, and now, BK is bringing their taste of the Adelaide Hills to the CBD for one night only.
The curated dinner on 1 June will highlight some exclusive Single Site Chardonnays that will only be released at the end of the month, giving guests a first sip experience of the minimally produced wine.
With any good wine of course, comes food, and the BK Wines dinner is no exception delivering on a delicately selected menu of fine dishes to accompany each pour.
On arrival, guests can expect a glass of 2021 Pet Nat Chardonnay followed shortly by the first course of cured ocean trout, fromage blanc, dill and roe, and a glass of The Fall Chardonnay 2020.
Second course will see foie gras parfait, fig preserve and soldiers paired perfectly with a glass of BK’s Yandra Chardonnay 2020.
Smoked fish rosti, beurre blanc, tarragon and bottarga are on offer for the third course to complement the next selection of wine, Gin Gin Chardonnay 2020.
The fourth course of the BK Wines masterclass will allow guests the chance to enjoy the elusive Adelaide Hills porcini prepared with pine mushroom in a risotto, parmigiano reggiano, and truffle with both Archer Beau Chardonnay 2018 and Swaby Chardonnay 2020.
Finally, to tie it all together you can expect to graze over a selection of world class cheese, muscatels, crackers, bread, quince and fresh pear, as you enjoy the final pour of the night of Gower Pinot Noir 2020.
Tickets to the event are priced at $180.00 and will be located at East End Cellar’s in the Adelaide CBD, the perfect central location to wine and dine with one of the Adelaide Hills best.
