National Pinot Day (yes, it’s a thing) is fast approaching, with the celebration set for Tuesday, August 18.
The team at East End Cellars have decided it’s only fitting to mark the occasion with piping hot pies, and pinot.
Head chef, Josh Lansley, is launching two pie flavours, both to be accompanied by silken mash and pea purée.
In terms of pie flavours, there’s two to choose from; Cumin Spiced Lamb, and Butternut Pumpkin, Pine Nut and Goat Cheese.
Each pie is priced at $25, and Mac Forbes Pinot will be available for $12 per glass.
Fresh pies are set to stay on the East End Cellars menu for the rest of Winter to make sure bellies are warm and satisfied.
Of course, if pies aren’t your thing, East End Cellars is famed for toasties and cheese platters, so you won’t be left out.
