Block out your diaries, Thursday lunch is sorted. East End Cellars Soup Kitchen is back, and kicked off several weeks ago with chef Simon Bryant. Each week a local chef including the likes of Maggie Beer and Duncan Welgemoed, will be taking over the kitchen to warm your bellies with soup that won’t just taste good, but will make you feel good too.
This week? Masterchef star Laura Sharrad is dishing up some delicious soup for your Thursday lunch.
The East End Soup Kitchen has become an Adelaide yearly tradition, with everyone from local winemakers and business owners getting involved. This year’s kitchen has come around at a particularly salient time, as the iconic Adelaide Hutt St Centre faces large funding cuts.
Every Thursday from 27th May through to 1st July, head to East End Cellars with your colleagues and friends for a winter warming soup and crusty bread for $20, with all proceeds going to the Hutt Street Centre.
