Swing into spring with East End Cellars this month, with the city cellar door hosting the ultimate long lunch to celebrate WellFest.
Putting the festive back in the Festival State, East End Cellars Food for the Soul lunch will see Vardon Avenue transform into a springtime soiree on October 30. Collaborating with South Australian wineries, food producers and musician Laura Hill, the late October lunch will help return Adelaide’s vibrant CBD to its lively self.
Kicking off at midday, guests attending the afternoon will be greeted on arrival with a cocktail (or mocktail) before settling in for an afternoon of delicious food, wine and fun.
Guests can expect to see South Australian flavours championed across the three-course meal, with Head Chef Josh Lansley using the best from local producers when creating his dishes.
Taking the flavours East Enders have come to know and love at the Tasting Room, a sneak peek of the menu shows Lansley serving the likes of Natures Smokey Jerk Chicken and a South Aussie Paella, with fresh and light sides accompanying it.
With all that dining, guests of the long lunch can expect to enjoy some wining with a three-hour drink package included on the day. Home to an array of classic drops and boutique wines, East End Cellars Tasting Room is sure to have a tipple that will tickle your fancy.
The Food for the Soul lunch coincides with the city’s WellFest, which runs from October 15 to 31.
WellFest is an initiative run by the AEDA, striving to kick start Adelaide and reignite the CBD, while providing much-needed support to smaller city businesses doing it tough after COVID.
With summer just around the corner, there has never been a better time to kick back with friends and enjoy the welcomed sunshine, especially if there is good food and wine involved.
The exclusive Food for the Soul fun starts at midday, and concludes at 3pm. Tickets are priced at $112.
