It would be too hard to pick our fave South Australian food and/or wine region. There are too many amazing choices and all with their own unique offerings. So we choose to love them all. But on Friday 11 December we will be giving all of our loving to Kangaroo Island…
Eat Kangaroo Island (yes, please) is a program of seasonal pop-ups held at the Adelaide Central Market. Basically the event brings together some of KI’s best artisan producers to the convenient city location so we get to experience the best of the best without having to jump on the ferry.
The list of attending producers has our mouths watering. From Island Pure (sheep dairy), Kangaroo Island Source (handmade condiments, sauces & spice pastes), to the delicious Kangaroo Island Spirits (slow distilled gin & vodka), Hazyblur Wines and Flavours of Petite Provence, we want it all.
If this isn’t the perfect way to celebrate such fabulous produce, then we don’t know what is… We can wait to see and, of course, taste the amazing range of Kangaroo Island’s premium food and wine (all of the wine) on offer. Plus, is this not just the most on point timing for Christmas? Hello, eating, drinking and getting some of that pesky Christmas shopping out of the way. Sounds ideal to us.
There are two sessions running on Friday 11 December, one at lunchtime (11am to 2pm) and one after work (4:30pm to 7pm) at the Kangaroo Island (Stall 16/17) in the Adelaide Central Market.
You know we love any excuse for a cheeky Friday night wine time but heck, who says you can’t have a naughty Friday lunchtime wine time? Maybe we will just attend both…
