Hot off their win at the 2015 Advertiser Food Awards for Best Small Bar (congrats guys), we thought it only appropriate to make this week’s Eat, Drink, Party all about Bank Street Social!
As we have mentioned in our last edition of Eat, Drink, Party, we are lucky enough at Glam to get to lap up the new and vibrant venues as they pop up but this time, we thought we would ask the experts from some of our fave Adelaide destinations where we should be heading out for a meal, a casual drink… and then perhaps a few more drinks and a bit of tail feather shaking. Because if anyone would know, it’s them, right!
This week it is over to Simon Orders, the Co Owner/Manager at Bank Street Social:
meal: Meal wise, my favourite for a while now has been Gin Long Canteen, but my new favourite recently may have to be Osteria Oggi. Sooo good. The tiramisu affogato is epic.
casual drink: I’d have to say my favourite place for a casual drink would be Udaberri (although Bank Street is also not a bad place for that too haha). Good tunes, intimate bar space and excellent tapas to go with a fab drink.
heading out: Even though I do spend nearly all of my later weekend nights here at Bank Street where I think we have one of the better late night party vibes going around, I do enjoy seeing the occasional international DJ play at Sugar.
