Eat, Drink, Party: La Rambla’s Hot Picks

Kicking off the new year right with 2016’s first edition of Eat, Drink, Party…

We say hello to a new year and to the first Eat, Drink, Party for 2016! And we are kicking it off with one of the best (would you expect anything less?). This little number is one of Peel Street’s hottest go-tos for a delicious drink (we love their Passionfruit Sangria – totally yummy) and a tasty nibble on some tapas. Could we be talking about anywhere but the delightful La Rambla?!

As we have mentioned in our previous editions of Eat, Drink, Party, we are lucky enough at Glam to get to lap up the new and vibrant venues as they pop up but this time, we thought we would ask the experts from some of our fave Adelaide destinations where we should be heading out for a meal, a casual drink… and then perhaps a few more drinks and a bit of tail feather shaking. Because if anyone would know, it’s them, right!

So without further delay it is over to the expert, Tomas Smith, Venue Owner at La Rambla:

meal: I’d have to say Andre’s Cucina & Polenta Bar. The food and service have always been excellent. The banquet menu is perfect to just turn up and be fed, and is a great price for what you get. I’ve never been disappointed by any of their choices.

casual drink: I like to drop into Hains & Co because they have a great choice of rums. La Bibliotecha also has a great back bar selection and is a cool quirky place for a mid week fix.

heading out: I can’t go past La Sing Karaoke Bar. Say what you will, but after a few drinks no bad can happen at La Sing. It’s always a laugh and you can still get chicken wings into the early hours of the morning.
