Ebenezer Place To Host Adelaide Hills Wine Pop Up Wine Bar This Friday

20 wineries are making the ramble down the hill to Ebenezer Place on Friday, December 1st to open minds with the sheer diversity of wine the region has to offer.

The Adelaide Hills wine region produces some of the most elegant and finessed cool climate wines in the world, not to mention wines so moreish and thirst quenching it’s hard not to spend your day dreaming about sipping them on a summer’s eve.

If this sounds like your idea of heaven then you’re in luck!

20 wineries are making the ramble down the hill to Ebenezer Place on Friday, December 1st to open minds with the sheer diversity of wine the region has to offer.

The party begins at 4.30pm and runs till 7:30pm, when you can meet and mingle with the likes of Lansdowne Vineyard, Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard, Golden Child Wines, Simon Tolley Wines, Top Note Wines, Chain of Ponds, Honey Moon Vineyard, Catlin Wines, Scott & La Prova Wines, Mt Bera Vineyards, Karrawatta, The Pawn Wine Co., Wicks Estate, New Era Vineyards, Somerled Wines, O’Leary Walker Wines, Howard Vineyard, Henschke, Lambrook and XO Wine Co.

For entry into the pop-up event download the 365 days of wine and food app (HERE for iPhone and HERE for Android) and purchase a $5 souvenir wine glass at the event.

Then it’s time to make the only truly hard decision of the night – what to drink?

Wines are for sale by the half glass and the glass, but event goers may also like to buy by the bottle to take home or out to Friday night dinner.

Henschke wines will be featured at the event and selling the 2015 Coralinga Sauvignon Blanc, 2016 Green’s Hill Riesling, 2015 Innes Vineyard Pinot Gris and 2015 Giles Pinot Noir.

The forecast is for 21C which will be perfect pre-Ashes wine drinking weather!

This is the penultimate wine pop-up of 2017, with the end the year and Christmas cheer being celebrated on the south-west quadrant of Hindmarsh Square for the Wine + Cheese Twilight Picnic on December 15th. This event will have no free wine tastings. All wine will be sold by the half glass or the glass. All bottle sales at the event will be packaged and are take-away only.
