Globally-acclaimed electronic powerhouse The Chemical Brothers will bring their world-renowned live performances to Australia next year.

The electrifying announcement was made by Frontier Touring and the shows, under the guidance of Smith and Lyall, mark the duo’s triumphant return to Australia after a hiatus since 2019.

The British electronic duo will perform East Coast shows in February and March next year for one night only in Brisbane, Sydney and Geelong.

Special guest DJs will kickstart the party, including The Presets DJ Set – recognised worldwide for their dynamic live performances and epic DJ sets – in Sydney and Geelong and while Anna Lunoe, a boundary-breaking artist from Sydney and James Holroyd, the long-standing opening Dj for The Chemical Brothers, will take charge of the decks across all shows.

To start the tour, Chemical Brothers will play Brisbane’s Riverstage on 27th February, before making their next stop at Sydney Showground on February 29th, then they will hit the stage at Mt Duneed Estate in Geelong, Victoria on 2nd March, for a day on the green.

With the announcement of their tenth studio album, The Chemical Brothers, comprising masterminds Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, reaffirm their legendary status in the electronic music landscape.

Following their 2019 full-length release ‘No Geography,’ which featured beats such as ‘Got To Keep On,’ ‘Free Yourself,’ and ‘Mad As Hell,’ the duo is poised to release their latest creation, ‘For That Beautiful Feeling,’ via Universal Music Australia this on September 8th, which features singles ‘No Reason’, ‘Live Again (feat. Halo Maud)’ and ‘Skipping Like A Stone ft. Beck’.

Fans will be excited as the project promises the iconic The Chemical Brothers sound at its very best, a record that seeks and captures the moment when sound overwhelms you and almost pulls you under yet lets you ride its wave.

For three decades, the The Chemical Brothers have defined the cutting edge of electronic dance music on their multi-platinum selling records and with their mind-bending hallucinogenic live shows.

The duo have played to millions of people at festivals and arenas worldwide and have made a household name for themselves worldwide with huge global hits such as ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’, ‘Galvanize’, ‘Go’ and ‘Block Rockin Beats.’

And in news from the stage to the pages, The Chemical Brothers also recently announced details of a career-spanning retrospective book, ‘Paused in Cosmic Reflection,’ due for publication on October 26th.

The book includes new interviews with the band along with many friends and collaborators across the past three decades, including the likes of Noel Gallagher, Aurora, Wayne Coyne, Beth Orton, Beck, Michel Gondry and many more.
