If you’re a lover of good food and wine (who isn’t if you’re a South Aussie?) and are looking for an experience this winter that sets the bar for an evening of incredible dining, we’ve got just the event for you.
This July, join Leconfield Coonawarra Chief Winemaker Paul Gordon as he partners with Chef Kirby Shearing of Elementary by Soul Co for a six-course Cellar Dweller Degustation Dinner at the exclusive restaurant in Mount Gambier’s Boandik region.
Combining fresh, locally grown and foraged ingredients to create a menu that’s set to tantalise the taste buds, each course will be perfectly matched with both current and cellar-release wines that are guaranteed to compliment the flavours of every dish.
Chef Kirby Shearing has been working his food magic for 23 years, feeding folk in Melbourne, New Zealand and the UK before returning to his roots in Adelaide, so you can be sure that the degustation menu he’s putting together for this special evening will both impress and satisfy.
Never been to Elementary?
Located on the Limestone Coast and hiding within the rugged brick exterior is a restaurant that’s anything but basic. Think of it as an ‘adult’s haven’—a stunning space that’s warm and inviting, with an intimate feel, perfect for a romantic date night or dinner with friends.
Add in the moody, subtle lighting combined with dark wooden tables, and you’ve got the ideal setting for such a unique and cosy evening.
If you’re ready for a feast of the senses and want to treat yourself to an incredible night out this winter, then don’t wait to book your spot. With only 35 seats available, it’s guaranteed to book out fast!
