Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2012 has been bringing us some exciting parades, parties and inspiration over the last week, and the . E L L E R Y . Delicatessen show was another event not to be missed. Brought to you from the sparkling waters of Sydney Harbour, Adelaide women now have the chance to check out this gorgeous resport 12/13 collection.
Kym Ellery found a surprising muse in an adored childhood possession, affectionately named Delicatessen. Driven by the guilt of discarding her beloved belonging at the age of eighteen . E L L E R Y . created this collection as a homage to her teddy bear.
. E L L E R Y . presented a sophisticated collection of minimalist draping with an architectural edge, amongst voluminous sleeves, skirted-shorts and their signature peplums. The colour palette was opulent with forest & moss greens, oxblood rouge against a backdrop of ivory & white. Baroque-printed hemp, check linen, brushed suede and triple silk organza and a peppering of glitter tulle were combined to create a richly textured vision.
E L L E R Y . is unwavering in its desire to create a seamless urban uniform and Delicatessen delivered this, effortlessly.
Lining the runway, the front row was decorated with the recognized faces of Elin Kling, Lara Bingle, Laura Dundovic, Morgan Weaving, Sophie Lowe, Jodi Gordon, Alexandra Richards, Rumi Neely, and Bryan Boy.
