Inner-city dining venue and sister restaurant to Erato Teppanyaki, Elpis Food and Wine have launched a brand-new menu and are ready to share it with you, the people of Adelaide.

Focusing on fresh, local ingredients the menu has been created by Richard Cho, the newly appointed Head Chef. With almost a decade of experience working as a Sous Chef in some of Adelaide’s most notable venues such as the Mayfair Hotel and Chloe’s Restaurant & Function Centre, Richard is no stranger to the kitchen and plans on infusing his Korean heritage throughout the modern-Australian menu.

If you’re familiar with the old menu at Elpis, you might remember it being quite complex and delicate with a smaller selection. Now you can expect a more relaxed, comfortable feel with a wider variety of mains to choose from. The change comes from direct observation and feedback from customers with the team at Elpis priding themselves on customer satisfaction. But don’t worry, they assure us that the food is still just as adventurous and exciting as before for all you foodies out there.

Always looking to please, the team at Elpis have designed their new menu in a way that can only be described as mouth-wateringly substantial. The star of their Mains selections is the Lamb Rump with Black Garlic, Candied Olives & Paprika Oil (I’m salivating just at the thought!) and was chosen due to not only it’s obvious mouth-watering qualities but also the portion size. Floor Manager Ken Lim says “Lamb rump is not only delicious but also value for money as it’s generally a bigger portion compared to a Porterhouse or Scotch Fillet steak, making it more affordable and satisfying for meat lovers.”

And to ensure you’re not too overwhelmed by the extensive wine list at Elpis, all staff are trained and willing to help you pair your meal with the right drop that’s suited to your preference.

The team at Elpis Food and Wine look forward to sharing their new menu with you!
