Emirates has appointed Paul Jury as its new District Manager for South Australia and the Northern Territory, bringing over 30 years industry experience to the role. Mr Jury will transfer to Adelaide from his current position as Emirates' Senior Sales Executive Victoria, a position he has held since 2002.
In his new role, Mr Jury – who previously held senior sales roles with Singapore Airlines and Swissair – will be responsible for the management of the Emirates South Australian sales and service office, and will take up residence in September.
“Emirates will commence four non-stop flights to Dubai per week from Adelaide from 1st November building to a daily operation by February 2013. Paul has been an important member of our sales team for many years and I am delighted to see him rise through the ranks to become an integral part of our senior management team,” said Barry Brown, Emirates’ Vice President Australasia.
“Paul will oversee all Emirates flights from Adelaide to our conveniently located Dubai hub, offering connections to over 80 African, Middle Eastern and European cities,” he added.
Emirates will operate Boeing 777 aircraft from Adelaide, offering eight First Class Suites, 42 Business Class and 310 Economy Class seats, while featuring world-class cuisine and the award-winning ice in-flight entertainment system.
