There is only one thing more magical than love — and that’s magic. Perhaps the most magical thing of all is the fact that, this year, Valentine’s Day lands on the opening night of Fringe 2020.
Make the most of this serendipitous occasion by putting a magical spin on your Valentine’s Day plans with Hotel Richmond’s dinner and illusionist show!
We present to you Extraordinary Guests of Hotel Richmond — a 75-minute, four-part illusion show by leading magicians straight out of Las Vegas.
A select few of the world’s most incredible magicians will be checking into Hotel Richmond, transforming their rooms into bespoke, intimate performance spaces.
Journey through these unique spaces, experiencing an intimate and interactive vignette from four different magicians for an unforgettable Valentine experience.
There are five show times and corresponding dinner times to choose from (note some dinners happen before the show and some happen after):
- 7pm SHOW 8.30pm DINNER
- 7.30pm SHOW 9pm DINNER
- 8pm SHOW 5.30pm DINNER
- 8.30pm SHOW 6.30pm DINNER
- 9PM SHOW 6.30pm DINNER
- 9.30pm SHOW 7.30pm DINNER
- 10pm SHOW 7.30pm DINNER
All sessions take place on Friday, 14 February. Tickets are $115pp and include a five-course dinner, glass of sparkling on arrival, and entry to the show, of course!
The menu kicks off with oysters, followed by South Aussie King prawns served with coriander, lemon grass, shredded daikon and salad greens.
Up next is seared lamb cutlet with polenta, rosemary and spinach extract and macadamia crumble, followed by 150g beef fillet mignon with thyme roasted potato, house jus and crispy pancetta.
And last, but most certainly not least, top it off with a ruby profiterole served with red wine chocolate ganash, Chantilly cream, macron and praline.
Sound amazing? We think so too. The best part is you don’t have to be a couple to enjoy this magical dinner and show combo — Hotel Richmond welcomes groups more than two as well (hello Galentine’s Day?!).
