Enjoy a night of wine at the South Australian Museum this June

Sip on reserved and museum release wines at the South Australian Museum this June, in collaboration with 15 top wineries.

Wine aficionados, this is an event you do not want to miss.

The South Australian Museum is throwing a special night to celebrate the marvellous wines of the state, paying tribute to its rich history.

Introducing RESERVED, presented by the South Australian Wine Industry Association and Adelaide a Great Wine Capital of the World. The event will take place on Friday 25 June from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

The Museum has collaborated with 15 top wineries in the region who will be serving reserved and museum released wines. Their most exclusive bottles are being brought up from the cellar and dusted off in preparation.

Listen to tunes supplied by a local DJ while you sip wines from Bec Hardy Wines & Pertaringa, Bleasdale, Chateau Yaldara – 1847 Wines, Gatt Wines, Hentley Farm, Kirrihill, Karrawatta, Knappstein Wines, Levrier by Jo Irvine, Loom Wine, Schild Estate Wines, The Pawn Wine Co., Thistledown Wine Company, Woodstock Wines and Zonte’s Footstep.

Guests will be able to sip on their top shelf wines while wandering around the exhibits in the Mammals and Pacific Cultures Galleries, taking in all of the wonders to behold.

Tickets will set you back only $20, with entry including a Great Wine Capital’s wine glass to keep, 2 x tasting tokens to be redeemed at the wineries, and a selection of tasty bites served up by the team at the museum.

Once your tasting tokens have been redeemed, wine will be available for purchase by the half-glass, the glass or the bottle.
