Enjoy a Yoga and gin session set under the stars inside a dreamy tipi

A special and memorable McLaren Vale experience, Yoga & Yin will have elements of sensory aromas from the botanicals of Ginny Pigs, music, fabulous platters and a beautiful setting under the stars in a tipi.

Ever wonder what it may look like to have a day start off with a nice bit of yoga but finish it off with a gin masterclass? If the answer is no, it should be a yes.

Ginny Pig Distillery is collaborating with Roaming Zen to bring the people of Adelaide a very yinny, ginny, totally dreamy Tipi experience with Yoga & Yin on January 21.

A special and memorable McLaren Vale experience, Yoga & Yin will have elements of sensory aromas from the botanicals of Ginny Pigs, music, fabulous platters and a beautiful setting under the stars in a tipi.

Yoga and Yin yoga are both popular practices that involve physical postures and breathing techniques to improve flexibility, balance, and relaxation. Yin yoga in particular is a slow-paced style of yoga that involves holding postures for longer periods of time in order to stretch and stimulate the connective tissues in the body. It is a great way to cultivate a sense of calm and relaxation in the mind and body.

To begin your day, you will start with 60 minutes of Yin yoga practice with Jen, founder of Roaming Zen Yoga & Wine Events.

You will then wind down with a gin flight and a bespoke tasting with award-winning Ginny Pigs, owner Bec Cooper accompanied by delicious food that will match beautifully with Ginny’s Gin.

Your entire evening will be hosted beneath the stunning TipiLane canopy that will have you floating into a sky of twinkling stars and feeling heavenly.

However, it’s strange to think that the award-winning Ginny Pig Distillery only opened its distillery door less that a year ago.

Nestled amongst the rolling landscape of the Fleurieu Peninsula, the new distillery opened its doors to McLaren Vale’s gin lovers last February.

Speaking to the Glam team earlier last year, co-owner Craig Cooper said “We are so excited to be in such a beautiful spot where our customers can come and enjoy our gins, learn about our process and meet the makers.”

“We have a comfortable tasting room and an amazing garden where customers can take a supplied picnic blanket & pillow to enjoy the view of the vines,” Craig continued.

Ginny Pig Distillery gins are handcrafted of the highest quality botanicals using traditional distilling techniques, ensuring all the right flavours in your glass. Hand produced by this dynamic duo, their four base flavours are sure worth checking out.
