Enjoy Crush 2013 at Lobethal Road Wines

Adelaide Hills’ boutique winery, Lobethal Road, is hosting a day of fine wine, fantastic food, cool tunes and award-winning photography at their Mt Torrens Cellar Door this Sunday 27 January as part of the Crush 2013 Adelaide Hills Wine and Food Festival.

This intimate and relaxed event kicks off at 11am with foot tapping gypsy swing by emerging Adelaide Hills’ band, Off the Street. Then at 1pm, blues maestros Nikko and Snooks will ease you into an afternoon of blues, soul and swamp pop.

Adelaide chef, Ali Seedsman and her team are preparing a delicious summer lunch, matched perfectly to Lobethal Road’s award winning wines. Start with warmed chevre with thyme, olives, beetroot relish and sourdough. Followed by Asian-style crispy fried prawns or chicken with hokkien noodles, greens and sesame soy dressing. To end, indulge in a caramel buttermilk cake served with cream.

Take the opportunity to view the latest exhibition by photographer, Matt Walker. Reflecting his recent travels in Cambodia, Matt’s work is often vibrant and challenging; languid and surreal.
