Enjoy Discovery Park cabins around SA from just $23 as part of the Great State Voucher campaign

Enjoy regional stays thanks to Discovery Park and the Great State Voucher campaign, with cabins from $23.

As part of the Great State Voucher campaign that kicks off tomorrow morning at 9am, there’s a range of amazing CBD hotel offers and regional offers, with $50 off your stay.

Discovery Parks are on board with the promotion, offering $50 vouchers to discount their exceptional beautiful cabins.

This means you can stay in a cabin in Clare for $24, Streaky Bay for $23, Barossa Valley for $30 or Port Augusta for $30.

The Great State Voucher promotion, encouraging both city and regional stays, is launching on October 15th at 9am, during which, South Australia will be chipping in between $50 (regional) and $100 (city stays) towards your hotel bill, at a wide range of amazing South Australian destinations.

For a very limited time, save $100 off Adelaide city stays, and $50 off regional and suburban stays in our Great State.

Get your Great State Voucher from 9am on 15 October to 11:59pm on 31 October 2020 unless they run out prior.

For those looking for cheaper options in the city, the Ibis Hotel is only going to cost you $1 (it’s cheaper than a cab home!) and the brand new Crowne Plaza on Frome Street is also involved in the promotion. The Crowne Plaza officially opens on November 2nd, and you could be among the first to stay there for only $55 (once you’ve used the voucher) if you jump on this incredible deal. Just wait til you see the inside – it’s spectacular (see the pics here).

To get your voucher, and see the full list of hotels involved, follow these three steps:

  1. From 9am on 15 October, the link to register will be available here. You cannot pre-register.
  2. Choose from the participating accommodation providers.
  3. Book your stay directly with your chosen provider. You must provide your unique Voucher number on booking.

The vouchers are valid for travel from 15 October to 11 December 2020.

Best of all, if you’re saving yourself a cool $100 on a night in the city, you can use that money to support a local business by shopping, eating out, having some cocktails, or enjoying a pamper session at your favourite day spa.

Here’s some of our suggestions on how to use your $100:

Hit up the Adelaide Central Market. Grab a great brunch, some fresh produce for your week’s meals, and a knick knack or too.

Face your fear of heights and try the Adelaide Oval Roof Climb (trust us, it’s amazing).

Head to the new bar and restaurant at the Oval Hotel, and experience the luxurious space, epic wine list, and in-house puppy.

Explore the Torrens – either around the outside on a Segway Tour, or on the water in a BBQ Buoy picnic boat, relax on a Popeye tour or even a book a memorable gondola trip.

Hit up one of the many inner city cellar doors, breweries or distilleries and sample their wares, while stocking up your cellar.

Jump on a Handlebar pedal pub tour around the streets of Adelaide. These two hour tours of the Adelaide CBD are on their 16 passenger peddling pub.

Book into one of Adelaide many incredible restaurants, including a stack of new ones, and some of our faves like Shobosho, Osteria Oggi and Georges on Waymouth.

Get active, and explore some activities like TreeClimb, Holy Moly mini golf, or many Escape Rooms that have popped up across the city.

Go bar hopping down Peel Street, Leigh Street and Bank Street and enjoy locally brewed beers, South Aussie gins, well-loved wines from our incredible wine regions, and more.

Hit up all the fun and fabulous shops, cafes, bars and more that are funnelled into the joy that is Vardon Avenue and Ebeneezer Place.

Soak in some culture along North Terrace at the The South Australian Museum, the State Library of South Australia (don’t miss the Mortlock Chamber), the Art Gallery of South Australia, and more.

So what are you waiting for? Get planning!
