A unique new Cafe will bring a hub of creativity, good coffee and breath-taking lakeside picnics to Milang, only an hour from Adelaide. Bespoke Delights Cafe and Keepsakes, the brainchild of Amy Longbottom, will house handmade gifts, locally sourced products and delicious eats.
“I wanted bring something just a bit different to Milang, a place to buy gifts for loved ones, while you enjoy the space.” Amy said.
“There is nothing like what I’ve created here at Bespoke Delights in regional SA!”
Living in the region herself, Amy says the menu will cater to locals and tourists alike.
The coffee is coming from Adelaide coffee roaster, Dimattina coffee, who have a 70-year legacy of smooth tasting coffees. Amy will also be serving up fresh sourdough fruit bread, banana bread and sourdough bread she makes from scratch each morning. There will also be tasting boards featuring local produce and pre-packed platter boxes.
“So you can walk down to the lake – only 150m from our front door – and have a lovely picnic,” Amy said.
She plans to open the doors officially over the October long weekend but will be open for visitors to have a sneak peek throughout the upcoming school holidays. She’ll be open for breaky and lunch Friday to Sunday with a time for an exclusive and bespoke breakfast with the sunrise on Thursday morning [bookings necessary].
Tourists visiting the region and staying at local accommodation are encouraged to take up the chance to wake up with the sun and a warm coffee.
“Come and watch the sunrise fill the front windows as you enjoy breaky and a cup of coffee,” Amy said.
With a passion for bolstering local artists and small business’, Amy says there’s something for everyone!
“There’s lots of bits and pieces on offer from candles to natural skincare, chill sauce to handmade totes, jewellery and beanies as well as stunning handcrafted pottery – made by a couple of local ladies,” she added.
Customisable gift boxes are also on offer, ensuring you have the perfect prezzie!
In the workshop and creative space housed within Bespoke Delights, Amy plans to host monthly craft workshops for kids, adults and families.
“From macrame, jewellery making or art classes, the possibilities are endless,” Amy adds.
