This is it, Adelaide. Winter has well and truly hit us in the last few days.
For those of you who struggle with permanently frozen finger tips and whole body tremors — can we first recommend you invest in a slightly warmer coat? Other remedies include this event that’ll warm you up from head to toe!
Winter Reds really could not be celebrated at a better time. And what goes better with a warming glass of red than a plate of delicious American BBQ straight from the smoker?
Taking place on both Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July, Ribs & Reds is serving up all sorts. Mains go for $15 and include barbecue pork ribs, hot wings with blue cheese aioli, slow cooked beef brisket, a pulled pork burger with slaw, accompanies by Pike & Joyce’s cool climate Shiraz Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir.
Plus, there will be vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free food options available as well — so none of the crew needs to be left behind! They’re also cooking up chargrilled cauliflower, with sweet potato, brussels, and chipotle aioli.
You can also get your hands on some tasty sides for $5, including cabbage and apple slaw, potato salad with caramelised onion and bacon, buttered sweetcorn with smoked spice, and mac and cheese bites!
(And don’t forget about the brown sugar pie with vanilla ice cream and pretzels for dessert!)
The weekend also features live music by Dylan Smith and The Dusty Lee Trio to warm your ears and views for days to please your eyes.
