Enjoy The Wurst of Adelaide

No matter if you’re a savvy sausage lover, or you covet Kransky, everyone is welcome to enjoy the Wurst of Adelaide.

No matter if you’re a savvy sausage lover, or you covet Kransky, everyone is welcome to enjoy the Wurst of Adelaide, a Chesser Street event brought to you by Event Management & Planning, Biggies at Bertram and The Henry Austin. The first Mid-Town block party – Wurst of Adelaide – is taking place from 11am to 5pm, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September 2016.

Wurst of Adelaide believes size matters, so bring your appetite, tease the tip of your taste buds and indulge in the world of the wiener.

If you’re coming stag, don’t be put out, this sausage party guarantees to please, and will leave you wanting more.

This family friendly event – on September 24-25 – sees local vendors join forces with The Henry Austin, serving a bounty of bangers. South Australian wines, craft beer, espresso martinis and the delights of a bourbon bar will help wash all those beaut-bangers down.

Max Mason, of The Henry Austin says “This part of town is utterly beautiful, the vine covering over Chesser Street will mean that our planned mid-summer events will be cool and classy. This is a great way to start the series”.

Beat the Barbie-queue, and buy tickets in advance to snag a bargain.

The $25 pre-sale ticket available on eventbrite includes one-day admission to the festive fry-up, one tasty sausage, and one drink of choice from either Down the Rabbit Hole Wine, Prancing Pony, Biggies at Bertram or Two Bit Villains.

Tickets at the gate will sell for $30. However, as numbers are strictly limited, only an advance purchase will guarantee your place in the wonderful world of the weiner.

Wurst of Adelaide is an all ages event, however anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children under 2 years old can enter free with any paying adult.

This will launch a series of events, all with a different theme. This first event has also been helped by the group receiving a Renewal SA City Makers–Place Makers grant.

This banger event is in the perfect location and such a friendly environment, so BYO mash and chow down as many sausages as you can.
