Epic cheese and pinot festival Mould x Pinot Palooza locks in Adelaide date for 2026

Mould x Pinot Palooza is heading to Adelaide for the first time, bringing unlimited cheese tastings, pinot pours and a nationwide lineup of producers to the city in 2026.

Mould x Pinot Palooza is finally heading to Adelaide in 2026, bringing its largest-ever national tour to the city for the first time as part of a flavour-packed celebration of cheese and wine.

Adelaide joins the lineup for the first time in 2026, bringing the event’s signature energy to the local food and wine scene after a previously planned 2024 visit was cancelled due to venue issues.

In Adelaide, the festival will run from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August at The Queens Theatre, with sessions on Friday from 5–9pm, Saturday from 11am–3pm and 4–8pm, and Sunday from 11am–3pm.

After building a loyal following across the country, the popular pairing of Mould and Pinot Palooza will land in Adelaide alongside Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, combining two hugely popular events into one shared experience designed for discovery, conversation and indulgence. The festival invites guests to taste, sip and connect directly with the makers behind the produce.

First launched in 2017, Mould will showcase more than 50 varieties of Australian artisan cheese, from fresh and delicate styles through to bold, aged favourites. Alongside it, Pinot Palooza, established in 2012, will pour more than 50 expressions of Pinot Noir from Australia, New Zealand and beyond, celebrating the diversity of the grape across regions and winemaking styles.

Across the country, the tour will expand to four sessions over three days, with Sundays now part of the lineup in every city, including Adelaide.

Beyond tastings, local guests can expect a full festival atmosphere with bars pouring a curated selection of wine alongside spirits, beer and cocktails. Food producers and artisan makers will also be on hand with ready-to-eat bites, pantry staples and grazing essentials to take home.

Among the producers already confirmed for 2026 are Milawa Cheese with its crowd-favourite wheels, Rub-a-Dub, low-intervention label Ohkela Wine, and Adelaide Hills producer Vinteloper, with more names still to be announced.

Presented by REVEL, the 2026 tour is expected to pour and plate more than one million samples nationwide. Tickets are on sale now for $59 plus booking fee and include festival entry, unlimited cheese and pinot tastings, a complimentary cooler bag for purchases, a stemless tasting glass and a custom wine tote. Session numbers are limited.

Jess Audas, Head of Revel, says “We’re beyond excited to bring MOULD x PINOT PALOOZA back for its biggest year yet in 2026. Cheese and pinot naturally belong together, and this format gives people the freedom to explore both at their own pace, talk directly with producers, and enjoy the experience without it feeling over-programmed or precious. It’s about great produce, great people and having a genuinely good time.”
