Dress up, drink, and disco at decades-themed winery party Vine Warp.
The party, which calls itself “Australia’s biggest outdoor winery party,” expects around 2,000 people to come enjoy an afternoon of fun. Vine Warp will take place Saturday, March 27th from 3pm at Leconfield Wines in McLaren Vale.
The disco is decades-themed, so guests are expected to show up in funk or disco 70’s, rock n’ roll or dance 80’s, techno or grunge 90’s, or pop rock 00’s attire. The best dressed guest even wins an award.
While they wear funky outfits, guests will get down to funky music from retro DJ’s JakiJ, Captian Kirk, Mr LookGood, and Melbourne-based tribute band BigCityBeat. There will also be karaoke and other immersive entertainment throughout the day.
Host company The Big Party is known for throwing massive themed events, with numerous 80’s and 90’s themed parties hosted across the country. McLaren Vale will be the first of its interstate Vine Warp series.
When partygoers get hungry from their dancing, they can choose from five different food trucks or snack on a picnic they packed themselves. Vendor options will include a yiros and baked potato trucks.
In terms of drinks, Vine Warp will have a fully licenced bar, hot drinks, and of course its host winery Leconfield Wines will be flowing.
“It will be a day of sunshine amongst the vines, with delicious Leconfield wines, gourmet food and jam packed entertainment,” the event promises.
