It’s Spritz season at Willmotts Gastronomia, with the Rose Park eatery celebrating Spring the best way we know how – with a little bit of fizz and fun!
It’s time to celebrate Tuesday the right way, outside in the welcomed Spring sunshine with a cocktail in hand. Each Tuesday, Willmotts will be hosting a happy hour for their delicious Spritz cocktails, with the drinks priced at $14 from 5pm to 7pm every week.
Willmotts has created a star-studded line-up of five Spritzes for customers to enjoy, each with a unique liqueur and fizzing with flavour.
For Adelaide citrus lovers, enjoy a Mando Spritz with Unico’s mandarin liqueur, vodka and topped with Prosecco. Taking a boozy spin on the beloved Solo soft drink, Willmotts have also created a Pinto Spritz with Coochi vermouth, bergamot liqueur and lots of fresh citruses.
If sweet drinks aren’t your style, the Sunny Boy Spritz will be the one for you with the combination of Chambord, lemon juice and Prosecco creating tangy, fizzy delight. Others joining the line-up will be the classic Aperol and a refreshing Pimm’s Spritz, topped with fresh oranges, strawberries and lime.
To pair with the springtime Spritz, the food and wine gurus at Willmotts recommend one of their generous charcuterie plates, with a selection of cured meats, artisan cheeses and pickles and preserves or a tin of Ortiz anchovies and fresh bread. If you’re after something more filling, a hearty bowl of Cacio e Pepe pasta is hard to miss.
No need to worry if your diary is booked this Tuesday, Willmotts is planning to run the springtime special while the weather remains warm. Carrying on the fizzy fun, the Rose Park eatery will also be running $85 bottles of Louis Roederer to Wednesday’s crowds from 5pm to 7pm as well.
Residing on Kensington Road, Willmotts is the little sister and next-door neighbour of Orso, East Adelaide’s neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar.
