A Western-themed block party is coming to Gilbert Place next weekend, promising a 3 day American Whisky extravaganza, sure to be music to the ears of Adelaide-whisky enthusiasts.
Gilbert Place Traders have joined forces with Jim Beam and Makers Mark, with Gilbert Place institution’s Hains & Co, Shotgun Willies, Blue Venue and Memphis Slim’s House of Blues all bringing their own unique spins to the event.
Chris Brittain from The Exchange, which is responsible for bringing to life the large activation style events was delighted with plans for the event so far.
“In SA we are extremely lucky to be able to run and enjoy events like this and collaborate with like-minded venues to bring to life awesome consumer experiences in Adelaide” he says.
You can bet we are planning on making the absolute most of it and will be putting on one hell of a show, while ensuring all the necessary precautions are taken to ensure a COVID safe event for all”.
Sharing their love of American whisky, the Gilbert Place establishments will be creating a collection of whisky-based cocktails to warm up the winter temperatures, a killer lineup of live local music talents and foodies will be delighted with a bourbon-inspired BBQ by Rik’s Grill.

The Friday and Saturday night events will kick off from 5pm until midnight, with a day session available on the Sunday starting at midday, offering a foodie focus perfect for your weekend family entertainment.
