Eric: The One Man Sketch Comedy Show

In the tradition of Steve Coogan, Lily Tomlin and Eric Bogosian comes Eric, a one‐man show featuring parade of mad characters and wild sketches performed by Melbourne theatre veteran Scott Gooding.

A team of Australia’s most exciting award winning playwrights (including Adam Cass, Dom Golding, Emilie Collyer, Lally Katz, Michele Lee, Ben McKenzie, Rob Reid, Robert Rorke, Nic Velissaris) has banded together to create a showcase worthy of Gooding’s voracious acting talents. A meeting of minds this scale is truly an Australian first.

Gooding is regular performer with corporate impro comedy troupe Company X, as well as being one of Melbourne's most eminent comic actors with over 20 years experience in the craft. His credits include Prank Patrol and Dungeon Crawl. Scott received a Green Room nomination for best directing on First Against The Wall 2010.

Eric is directed by long-‐performing comedian of stage and television, Scott Brennan, famous for his work on skitHOUSE, Spontaneous Broadway and as one third of Talking Poofy.

The achievements of the writing team are too numerous to mention but range from Green Room and Helpmann Awards, MTC seasons, and world tours.

Eric makes its Adelaide debut in this year’s Fringe Festival.
