You know her from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as your favourite superstar blonde bombshell and dance-floor dominator, and now Erika Jayne is heading to Mary’s Poppin thanks to ITDEVENTS for one night only this February. Making her debut at the Neon Galaxy festival for Sydney Mardi Gras the day before, Erika will be performing for the first time in Adelaide as part of her first Australian run.
Stephen Craddock, director of Mary’s Poppin shared some details on what to expect from her set on the night with Glam Adelaide.
“A DJ set so fierce it could power the grid. You’ll get fashion, dancers, strobe lights, a touch of Beverly Hills drama, and more ‘It’s Expensive to Be Me’ moments than your credit card is emotionally prepared for. Plus, Mary’s Poppin never does anything by halves – we’ve packed the night full of drag, DJs, and pure chaos (the good kind). If you leave with your lashes still attached, you’re built different,” he said.
And how did Stephen get Erika Jayne to play in Adelaide? “Witchcraft, caffeine, and a few favours we can never speak of publicly.”
All year round, ITDEVENTS brings queens and icons to Australia, and Mary’s Poppin gets the honour of hosting most of these legendary performers. “We love giving Adelaide the same energy as L.A., London, and New York… just with better drag and cheaper drinks.”

So, if anyone was born to hit “play” dramatically while wearing diamonds, it’s Erika Jayne. She’s been performing forever, and DJ-ing was the natural next step because when you’ve conquered reality TV, dance music, and the gay community, the only logical upgrade is pressing buttons in front of thousands. And she’s good at it. Think: high-energy, high-glam, high-camp… and probably high-voltage.
In terms of the venue, Marys Poppin has had a recent facelift. Stephen tells us that, “the downstairs renovation went off like a glitter bomb, so now we’re in the planning and design stages of renovating the original top bar, where the magic started back in 2016. We’re aiming to open it for our 10th anniversary in April… unless we pull a Beyoncé and drop it early. Stay tuned.”
There are plenty of other big surprises the Marys Poppin would like to share, but between December to February, this is what to expect… stacked like a drag queen on a Tuesday brunch shift:
- Club Broadway – 6 Dec
- Bosco & Irene – 12 Dec
- NYE – Always a sell-out, always iconic
- United Kingdolls – 17 Jan
- Club Chappell – when she hits Adelaide
- ERIKA JAYNE LIVE – 28 Feb
“We like to say Mary’s Poppin is where international stars realise they should’ve come here a long time ago.”
