ESC Rooms has announced it will be launching a Da Vinci-themed room next month full of intrigue, suspense and excitement.

The storyline for the Da Vinci room is as follows:

‘For hundreds of years, the world speculated whether Leonardo Da Vinci was hiding his genius works somewhere. That is until now. Archeologists have discovered an underground secret lair, rumoured to be filled with Da Vinci’s greatest inventions. However… no one has made it out alive.

‘You and your team have been enlisted to venture into the depths of the underground to uncover his inventions and find a way out! But, it seems that Da Vinci won’t give up his secrets that easily.

Do you have what it takes to outwit one of the most intelligent men in history?’

Sibling duo Alana and Niko Pappas opened ESC Rooms several years ago after their stint on The Amazing Race.

Alana and Niko have been creating/building this new room for almost 2 years, “so it is a long time coming!”

“We have had some help from someone who builds sets/props for the South Australian Film Cooperation so the design is realistic, immersive and really transports you back to the 1500s.

“Now after being open for nearly 2 years, we know what customers like. We have built this room based on that, so it has really immersive elements, cool things you can touch, puzzles you have never seen before and a great theme throughout. The room is a medium/hard difficulty and is suitable for groups of 2-6 people,” Niko said.

According to Niko, this is the best escape room that they have made to date with attention to detail being at the forefront of Da Vinci.

You also have the option to choose from 3 other themed rooms. Saw is a horror themed room based on the Saw film franchise, where you have to serial killer Jigsaw’s slaughterhouse. The Hangover Room is light, comic and filled with confusion just like the movies where three friends get wrecked on their Las Vegas bachelor trip. In the Spy Room, you’ll have to break into the UN headquarters to diffuse a bomb in one of the most challenging escape rooms in Adelaide.

Da Vinci will be available to book from September 1.

So why not grab some of your mates and see if you have what it takes to outsmart one of history’s most iconic figures?
