Dick and Angel Strawbridge, the well-known personalities from the popular television series “Escape to the Chateau,” have announced their return to Australia with a new live tour titled “Forever Home”. This 2025 tour promises to provide a deeper look into the couple’s lives and adventures while renovating their French chateau.
The tour will cover multiple cities across Australia, beginning in Perth at the Astor Theatre on Wednesday, 9th July, with Adelaide the second cab off the ranks, on Sunday 13th July. Canberra, Brisbane, Bendigo, Melbourne, Newcastle, and Sydney, are also included in the line up for the tour.
“We had the most wonderful time in Australia in 2023 and we are so excited to be coming back! We can’t wait to return to the stage to share even more of the adventures, challenges, and successes of building and living our Chateau dream,” shared Dick and Angel in a statement. They continued, “Only so much of our story has been told on the telly. As life at the Chateau continues to evolve, we will share our insight into what it takes to live your dream and build a forever home.”
The “Forever Home” tour is set to be their largest tour yet. It is not only an opportunity to hear untold stories from Dick and Angel but also a chance for fans to engage directly with the couple in a highly interactive show format. This engagement will feature various challenges from day-to-day tasks that might include everything from simple baking to more complex DIY tasks.
During the tour, audience members will have the unique chance to participate in a contest titled “Escape to the Chateau – Jack of All Trades.” Contestants selected from the audience will compete on stage in various challenges, related to home improvement and maintenance, capturing the essence of what it takes to manage a chateau.
The couple has captured the imagination and hearts of millions worldwide with their story of renovating the Chateau de la Motte Husson in France, which they transformed from a rundown property to a stunning home and event venue. Their journey has been extensively documented on their television show. The series shows not only the highs and lows of their ambitious renovation project but also their willingness to tackle any challenge that comes their way.
