Eskimo Joe, The Superjesus, and Chris Sebastian playing at The District at SkyCity

The Superjesus, Eskimo Joe and Chris Sebastian will all play at Adelaide’s newest and most unique live entertainment venue early in the new year.

The District at SkyCity has announced three big Australian acts to kick off its 2021 line-up.

The Superjesus, Eskimo Joe and Chris Sebastian will all play at Adelaide’s newest and most unique live entertainment venue early in the new year.

The Superjesus will start the party with a ticketed performance on Saturday, January 16.

Fronted by local charismatic powerhouse Sarah McLeod, The Superjesus are best known for their hit singles Gravity, Secret Agent Man, Enough to Know, Shut My Eyes, Down Again, Now and Then, Over and Out and many more.

Eskimo Joe will follow The Superjesus on Wednesday, February 24.

Eskimo Joe have successfully straddled the line between commercial success and keeping their alternative music roots secure over their career.

Racking up six studio albums and sales in excess of 750,000 in Australia, the band has had three albums debut at No. 1 on the ARIA charts, with juggernaut ‘Black Fingernails, Red Wine’ shining for a monster 62 weeks in the ARIA Chart Top 50 and “Foreign Land”, from their fourth album ‘Inshalla’, bringing home 2 APRA Awards, for Most Played Rock Song on Australian radio and Best Rock Song of 2010.

Eskimo Joe’s enjoyed 36 ARIA nominations to date, a number only surpassed by Silverchair, Powderfinger, Kylie Minogue and John Farnham. Their brand new single ‘Say Something’ was released in May this year to critical acclaim.

The third act signed for early 2021 is The Voice Season 9 2020 winner, singer-songwriter Chris Sebastian, who will perform on Saturday March 20.

Chris captured the hearts of Australia for his incredible talent and gracious nature and receives an overwhelming response everywhere he performs.

The District at SkyCity, Australia’s first fully functional brewery within a casino, officially opens to the public on Saturday with a free concert by South Australian indie pop rock sister band, Germein.

Inspired by the vocal harmonies of iconic bands such as Queen and Fleetwood Mac, both of whom Germein’s been honoured to appear on the line-up with at the Isle of Wight Festival, they have enjoyed airplay on Triple J and the Hit Network across Australia.

The District is a vibrant live entertainment space on Level 1 in the current heritage building and a key pillar of SkyCity’s $330 million transformation into a world class integrated casino and entertainment precinct.
