Etypejazz Celebrate 20 Years And Release Their New Album, Martini Blue

Slicker than their namesake the E-type Jaguar, Etypejazz deliver the sophistication and sexiness of the sixties with their tenth album, Martini Blue.

etypejazzEtypejazz are launching their tenth album, Martini Blue, at The Arkaba on Sunday, December 7 at 5pm.

Slicker than their namesake the E-type Jaguar, Etypejazz deliver the sophistication and sexiness of the sixties with Martini Blue.

Recorded live in the studio in front of an audience, Martini Blue captures the energy and spontaneity of an Etype performance as the skilled five-piece creates a moody and soulful easy-listening album.

Ticket buyers will be transported back to the cool lounge feel of the sixties and are encouraged to wear a touch of blue to join the band in celebration of 20 years in the business and their tenth album.

Singer Katrina Ryan said the nerve-racking process of recording live has paid off.

“We are really excited about the CD,” Katrina said.

“It sounds incredible and has come up so much better than we anticipated.

“It was a bit scary recording a live album and it really captured the essence of who we are.

“After 20 years it really reflects our friendships, our journey together in the band and the way we have emulsified over the years to have this really tight family unit.”
