Get excited Adelaide!

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest, Splash Adelaide is holding a free public screening of the semi-finals at 4:30pm Friday 22 and 5pm Saturday 23 May at the Westpac House Courtyard.

Lord Mayor Martin Haese said this event will enable people to watch their favourite countries perform together.

“Adelaide is rich in cultural diversity, and this event is a great way to bring our European family and friends together to watch their countries compete and see who performs the best.

“Everyone should bring along their chosen countries flags and costumes to celebrate this flamboyant festival of song,” said Martin.

Event Organiser Craig Jeffery says the opportunity for Australia to be part of such a big event is something people should embrace and be a part of.

“It is exciting to see Australia will be recognised through this event in the final and people should embrace this opportunity we have been given and celebrate it together.

“There will be pre-show entertainment and live performances on both of the nights before the big event starts at 7:30pm.

“Jack Ruby will also be serving food and beverages throughout the evening,” said Craig.

Everyone is encouraged to come along and enjoy this free event supported by Splash Adelaide.
